OGR Torino is a cultural and technological innovation hub stretching over 35,000 square meters. Built between 1885 and 1895, the site was once dedicated to the maintenance of railway vehicles and it is now committed to the promotion of culture in the fields of visual and performing arts. Since opening its doors in September 2017, OGR Torino has become an experimental and ever-evolving space for the city yet open to the world with its international program. To date OGR Torino has commissioned solo exhibitions and site-specific projects to world-renowned artists and performers, such as William Kentridge, Tino Sehgal, Susan Hiller, Mike Nelson, Pablo Bronstein, Monica Bonvicini, as well as music shows and DJ sets by Kraftwerk, New Order, Alva Noto, Kamasi Washington, Jason Moran, Holly Herndon, among many others.
