The Verbier Art Summit is a non-profit organization aiming to empower the art ecosystem to be a positive social change facilitator. The vision of the Summit is to provide an international platform for discourse in a non-transactional context where thought leaders and key figures in the art world can connect and generate innovative ideas that drive social change.
At the start of each year, the non-profit Summit brings together international speakers from different disciplines to kick off debates on important social issues in the inspiring mountain city of Verbier. A leading museum director is invited to create a task force around a critical theme whereby the annual debate is passed from one museum director to another. Through a series of talks and debates, new visions and initiatives are born that will make a positive change and build global solidarity. By broadcasting the programme through its virtual platform, the Summit educates, provokes and inspires the wider community, ensuring an inclusive global dialogue whilst leaving behind the environmental impact and financial barrier of mobility: open doors, open minds, open art.
