Woodbine

Woodbine opened in 2014 and is located in a 5,000 sq ft storefront in Ridgewood. Volunteer-run, it describes itself as “an experimental hub for developing the practices, skills, and tools needed to build autonomy.” In addition to film screenings and talks by artists, writers, philosophers, and activists, the space hosts research discussion groups, a food pantry, community dinners, a maker’s space, and yoga and weightlifting classes as well as gardening, fermentation, and health workshops.
